French Riviera is glitzy glam on the beach sounds like. But tucked inside is also the shopping and art. Did you know many of the artists of the famous 19th century painters hung out in these corridors… like Matisse (a fave 🎨).
…Who made coral reefs and shapes colorfully stylish. He didn’t know that symmetrical macrons would be a sweet thing to do a collaboration with.
…And nearby there are Farmers Markets or outdoor merchant markets where you can buy fresh goods. I think every country around the world has their version of outdoor markets that keeps the world go round!
Or you can relax on the sandy beach.
Nice has yellow happy wavy vibes and blue beach stripes. 🏖️
And when you’ve mellowed on your vacation, you can go back to your bougie hotel and just plop down in your temporary room digs that feels like home away from home.
Because if you want consistency, staying at a hotel is going to leave you the least amount of hassle when you consider handling keys, getting checked-in, and of course having food options onsite.
And in Nice, this is extra nice at the Doubletree Hotel.
When I worked at the Doubletree Hotel as a catering sales manager for a few years, the hotel brand was only in the States.
It was a new brand spreading the word. So in sales, we would take the famous chocolate chip cookies 🍪🍪 around so we could be remembered.
…And I think that worked because the cookies crossed the ocean and there is now a Doubletree Hotel in Nice, France. And you can enjoy the breakfast buffet and signature cookies when you’re visiting!
